We’ve been supporting this event for the past ten years and over that time it grew into our biggest event. Including six coffee machines plus batch brew and tea station. Challenges 😰

  • Working outside with big setup and sometimes in adverse weather conditions. Organising power supply big enough for this super busy event.

  • Managing up to 21 staff, organising accommodations and transport for big team so the client didn't have to worry about it.

  • This was an international charity, family event so we had to be ready to all types of customers and wide variety of people from all over the world.

  • Managing high attendee and spectators numbers and reducing queuing times for coffee services.

Solutions Implemented ✅

Customisable Menus

This is a family event so making sure we have a full menu with options for kids and people that don’t drink coffee.

Team Management

Our team of 21 (not just baristas but also drivers and setup/ breakdown crew) is there all day making sure both the client and their guests have positive experience. This also included some of the talented baristas being multi lingual for this international event.

Operational Strategy

Planing logistics months ahead of time. Efficient setup and teardown of big event outside. Supplying power sources needed to run 6 espresso machines and other equipment needed to ensure smooth operations.

Outcomes

  • 2025 sees the 10th year Henry's has supported this amazing charity triathlon through rain, sunshine and high winds. Each and every event has been a huge success.

  • Welcoming attendees at the event with hot drinks proved to be a great idea for this outdoors autumn event. We made sure that the service was fast, as it's an extremely busy sports event.

  • We provided health conscious options like matcha, two types of hot chocolate and a variety of plant-based 'mylks' that proved to be very popular with both spectators and competing sports people.

  • Great feedback from guests of the event. We provided the client with perfect environment for team bonding across departments from different countries.

Sustainability & Environmental Responsibility

Consumers are becoming more Conscious of the environmental impact of their actions, and we believe sustainability will remain a significant factor in purchasing decisions. Our single-origin Arabica coffee beans are sourced ethically from direct trade roasters, ensuring fair trade practices. This means your cup of coffee will not only be of exceptional quality but also fair to the farmers who cultivate it.

Embracing sustainability, we use eco-friendly packaging and aqueous lined coffee cups to minimise our environmental impact. By choosing materials that are kind to the planet, we ensure that every cup of coffee served contributes to a greener future.

Diversity, Equality, Inclusivity

At Henry’s Coffee & Events, our baristas and staff are the heart of our service, embodying our commitment to diversity.

We pride ourselves on offering equal opportunities for all team members, who are dedicated to creating a welcoming and respectful atmosphere while serving delicious coffee. Every interaction is crafted to be as delightful and inclusive as the brew itself.

Henry’s offers flexible hours ensuring our staff can keep a healthy work-life balance. It’s important for us to foster open, positive, supportive workplace culture. We believe in valuing our team by offering pay well above the London Living Wage. This commitment reflects our dedication to supporting our staff and ensuring they thrive, just as we strive to create exceptional experiences for our clients.
